About the Author

Leo M. Bonaventura was born in East Chicago, Indiana in 1945. He was the second oldest of eight children. His father frequently accused him of being a dreamer and said that he needed to concentrate on reality or he may not succeed in life. He went on to Marquette University and then to Indiana University School of Medicine where he obtained his M.D. in 1970. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He still was a dreamer but put it on the back burner. In December of 2007, he embarked upon the project involving Karen Carpenter and Leo Adam Alba III, Leave Yesterday Behind.
